We collect the following data when you use CardScan:

• Account data: email address, password (hashed)
• Profile data: name, company, phone, website (optional)
• Card data: business card images and extracted contact information
• Usage data: login times, feature usage (anonymized)

3. Legal Basis

We process your data based on: (a) contract fulfillment (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), (b) consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and (c) legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Data Storage

All data is stored on servers located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). We use Supabase (EU region) for secure data storage.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained until account deletion. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to: access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@wamocon.com.

7. Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies for authentication (session tokens). No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
